As of today I'm back to low carb eating. This is my 4th try to lose my weight and it's very discouraging when I fall back into old "bad" habits. I'm more determined than ever to stay with low carb eating because I feel so much better and I have more energy when I'm sticking with the program. What I need is help to cheer me on and an ear when I'm discouraged. Please HELP........thanks to all the success stories I really do feel I can acheive my goals.

WELCOME BACK CASS!!!!

You should check out the challenge forum and join a group there. It's much easier to stick to this (especially at the beginning) when you have a group of "pals" helping you out.

I see you registered at the holidays last year? NOT the best time to start! LOL

I'm sure you'll do much better this time.

Good luck!

You picked the right place to come to find people to cheer you on when things are going well. AND the best place to come for support when things are going slooowly.

Welcome back Cass, come by often, ask and we will respond. I know how hard it can be to get to the point where you are totally committed to this woe.... it took me a few tries and finally I said you aren't getting younger, and this weight isn't going anywhere unless you deal with it.... encouraging words are free, you need only ask.

I am also back to LCE after falling off the wagon! I lost 45 pounds last year and have managed to pack 20 of them back on. I went from a size 18 to a 10 and was SO proud of myself! Now I'm back into a 12 and it's feeling kinda tight. I've re-done induction so many times now it's not funny. Monday is my 4th time beginning it again.

BUT this time -- I know it will work! I was talking to my husband and he said that last year I commented over and over and over again that if it were not for the low carb board I couldn't have been as successful. By gosh -- he was exactly right and I had forgotten how much I had come to depend on this site and everybody here.

So I'm back! With a new name though.

My advice to you and to myself is to KEEP coming here. Keep reading the messages and tell yourself this WILL work this time!

I also logged back onto fitday.com (Thank goodness it kept all my info with all my foods I had spent so much time entering) and that was also a key website for me last year.
