| A couple years ago I lost 20lbs on Atkins. So I found this board, and the support was great. I used to be Tator Tot Chick. Well, I got married, had a baby, and now I have twice the weight to loose. I started induction today, and all is well. We cleaned out our cupboards of all the bad stuff not allowed, and I've been looking at the Atkin's website and posted my profile and got some great recipies, and then came back over here for the support. WOW what a wonderful change you all have made to this site! I'm super impressed! Good golly it's just so much more than when I last visited. Good job! I am currently at home w/ my new son who is already 5 months old now. I've got about 56 lbs to loose to where I will look pretty good and I'm sure feel all that much better. I'm sure I can do this. The only problem is my chocolate cravings. Not so much the sugar, just the chocolate. I also contributed a recipie back then for French Silk Pie, and Sharron revamped it to make it carb-friendly. Hmmph, I'm gonna go see if it's in the archives somewhere, I'd like to make that again. I really love cheesecake, so will try to find a recipie for that also for my induction phase. I plan on staying on induction till most of the weight comes off, instead of the 2 weeks. So I just wanted to reintroduce myself and let you all know that I will be here posting thru my weight loss. And I am already very familiar w/ the Atkins since I've done it once before w/ great results.

| Welcome back. I just wanted to add that Lindt's 85% chocolate bar is a pretty good way to get that chocolate fix. It comes out to about 1g./square. I can get them at Woodman's grocery but they also have a website, http://www.lindtusa.com/, which you can order directly from. I think they are actually a healthy choice as dark chocolate is a good antioxidant.

| Hey thanks Lynnrath, I remember you and LCandrea and April also! And thanks for the welcome back everyone. Day 2 is going well. I have a headache tho from the no caffine (I'm a HUGE cappuccino person!). Infact, does anyone have a good caffine free carb friendly cappuccino recipie? Let me know. Thanks! Oh ya, I am looking for a good cheesecake recipie for induction. Anyone have that also? I tried checking the recipies but don't really find much. I think I am having a hard time navigation this snazzy little new site. Thanks again!

| Aimee, here's what I do: I make a big mug of strong, freshly ground, decaf coffee. ( I fill the mug half way.) Then I add about a 1/2 or so cup of Chocolate Carb Countdown Milk (have you been able to find this yet?) plus 1/8 tsp. of Stevia, a generous splash of Torani or Davinci s/f syrup, usually Irish Cream Flavor or Hazelnut or Chocolate and a splash of 1/2 & 1/2. I funnel this concoction into an empty 16 oz. water bottle and cap it off so I can cart it to work with me. Sometimes when I want it really chocolaty I add an extra tsp. or so of cocoa powder. The cocoa settles out, but with the cap on, you can shake it up. It's sooooooooo good. It ends up being cold, but I like it that way, just like the cold Starbuck's Frappacinos in the bottles. If you can't find Stevia (health food stores) you could probably use a couple packets of splenda. If you like it really sweet, the Stevia really works well. YUMMERS!!!!!

| Thanks Barb!:jumpgreen It sounds great! I'll be sure to try it! Life in Minnesota is great by the way. Still cold as usual, but I'll take that anytime over those mosquitos! As of today I am down 5 lbs, so yey for that! I am trying to keep up on my water intake also, which usually isn't a problem. I tried that Hardee's low carb bowl this morning and it was pretty good. They claim only 6 carbs I think.

| Glad you like the "Frappacino" Idea. I'm addicted!!! I'm always sad when it's gone, because I only allow myself one per day. It's been coooool here in Illinois too. I think yous guys get a bit more warmer weather up there in Lake Land, than we do here sometimes, ya you betcha!!!! I sure do miss coming up there every summer, like we did my entire life. (Grandparents were in Minneapolis, Minnetonka, Excelsior areas. I was born in Wayzata.) Ah well, I'm still a Minnesotan at heart and by blood.
