    Unhappy My foods...

Hello all, sorry to be so long in replying. Just wanted to say thanks again for all your support.
I am now in Day 36 of Atkins, and I haven't weighed myself this week.
    Start weight - 226.7lbs
    loss - 9.9lbs
    height 5'6
    goal - 140
    current weight- 216.8

Please keep in mind that I live in Japan, and produce/meat is very seasonal - the prices fluctuations are crazy, and my stores don't stock lc products.

Also, I take 20mg daily of Paxil (I know anti-depressants are known to sometimes mess with weight loss, but I will not stop my doseage) Omega 3 oils, and psyllium husks (sent to me by my sister)

Breakfast - 2 or 3 scrambled eggs with a pat of butter, with mushrooms or cheese OR a piece of salmon
Lunch - veggie soup (water & boullion w/ cabbage, bean sprouts, mushrooms, and spinach) and a meat of some sort (canned tuna, hamburger, chicken, maybe some beef) OR meat with a green salad tossed with a bit of olive oil
    Dinner - similar to lunch
Snacks - a few ounces of cheese, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers(sometimes stuffed with tuna for more protein), hard boiled egg, broccoli

I was whining earlier when I said "I feel like it is all slipping away from me" and now I understand why. I WAS GETTING SLOPPY!!! After induction, I went a little psycho with cherries (they are such a treat when we only get them a short time out of the year). And finding that it is VERY hard to find appropriate lc foods when I am not at home (convenience foods in Japan means rice and bread products), I got sloppy with NUTS.

So, life is choices right? I am responsible for everything I eat and I can't complain when I screw up. I am chugging the water, still struggling to exercise regularly. And I must be more accurate with my carb count. Plain and simple,...my fault.

    Sorry this is so long
    Thanks guys, you rock!

THAT might be a blessing in disguise, if you're referring to low carb bars, ice cream, and the like. In my humble opinion. we're all better off without them on a daily basis.

Your menu looks good. Here I am in the US whining sometimes because of realatively "boring" food choices, and then I hear from people such as yourself who don't even have those "boring" food choices...

    Makes me re-think my position.

Thanks for your post. Keep posting and let us know how it goes in your world.

J-girl, April's right. I think the convenience LC products can really sabotage us, so........don't fret about that. Do they have cream cheese over there? You can do lots of stuff with it.............if you have access to sugar substitutes. Being in Japan prolly forces you to eat "clean." Your menu does look great!!! The cherry tomatoes could be a problem if you overdo them, but I wouldn't worry about eating a few now and then. They taste like candy to me now. I have a few every once in awhile on my McD-type salads if I eat out, and I EAT them. There's usually only 2-3 of them in the salad anyway, so what the heck. (And I used to HATE tomatoes!!!! LOLOL)

Your weight loss has begun in earnest............WAY TO GO!!!!

So the next goal to work on now is to up your exercise. It took me awhile to get used to doing ANYTHING physical. Now I LOVE doing physical stuff..............you'll get there!!!!
