Default Weak tea good as water?

Hi, I just started the diet 3 days ago. For me to drink so much water is really a problem, however when I make my tea I make it really weak (one tea bag for half a litre of water), could I add that amount of fluid to my water intake requirement? Please say Yes (just kidding)

Yves, it is my opinion that (while water is best), tea that weak, with nothing more added (no cream, no sweetener) is better than nothing. In other words, supplementing your water with this weak tea is better than simply not getting enough fluid at all. Especially while you're getting started.

Keep working at the water, though. You'll find (as most of our members have) that you'll find yourself really loving water over time.

Just do not be adding sweetner to it.... you needa to clean your body out... if possible look for caffeine free tea bags... and as said above You will grow to love water... and true pure water is the only thing that can realy quench thirst!

I totally agree with Maggie and Gilley.

When I first started, I didn't like drinking the water either and used to dilute a gallon of water with 1 bottle of diet Snapple. That way, I had a bare hint of flavor and was able to get into the habit.

Now, I just prefer my water plain (and room temp) and when I DON'T drink it like I should, I notice I get more headaches and feel tired and achy.

Thank you all for your support, and advise, I shall heed them.
I do use artificial sweetener (Sacharine)
    Is that ok?

    Cheers
