    Native New Yorker who went from NY to Phoenix and now Portland.
    Worked in hospitals for years and am now a freelance medical writer after being a hospital staff writer. Am trying to follow Atkins again-had great success lost 75 lbs-and then went back to my evil carb ways. I'm Italian and love the pasta and breads-but they don't love me.
