Susie, What have you been doing? I got off track with my LCE and have just got back on, two weeks ago. I don't know what happened to me. Back on though. Hope to see you on this forum again. I missed it here.....and our conversations.
I wondered what you were up to. I am getting itchy to start my garden now as our snow is melting and the grass is showing in some places. The last couple of snow storms dumped over 20" on us here. Water for our well! I will send you a email soon. Just been very busy and I could hardly even get here. Working hard on my sites trying to get more sales. Stay safe and many blessings to you and your family, kat
Hi Kat, Hello! Our garden is thriving, and now the weather is in the 70's... so i expect to see things rocket skyward. The carrots are tiny still, but the salad is about 3 inches tall, the peas have leapt out of the ground and I have to get stakes up for them this weekent, and the beets are just starting to sprout. Onions are already about 4 inches high! MMMM can't wait. I snipped off a tiny, sprout sized leaf of the mixed salad greens and they are bursting with flavor. Made me want to stand out there and graze. My son was annoyed that i would "ninja" HIS lettuce before it was grown. We have to plant these things in winter, because by April it will be hot. Your spring crops bolt easily here in the heat. Just wanted to say hi. I have been going nuts with work, they keep piling on paperwork and deadlines. So i haven't posted much. Hope you are well and signs of spring soon abound. God bless you!! Susy
Ok. I got it. I think we exchanged them before but in case you lost mine it is nikita@citlink.net. I would love to hear more from you. Sometimes I have to hold back what I say due to it being public.
Hi Kat. I forget how cold and icy February is in the rest of the country. Hang in there! I so enjoy reading your posts and hearing from you. Do you think we could exchange emails sometime? I always type too much and have to delete it. lol I am sfry@lcps.k12.nm.us or susan@msmenterprisesllc.com
As good as a February can be! Can't wait for it to end. In March I can finally start my seeds again.....which means CHEAP lettuce again!!! What have you been up to?
Hi Kat, Hope you are having a wonderful February.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Katlupe and all your family and animals on the homestead. Wise women like yourself to talk with are one of the many blessings I have to say Thank you, Lord for. Take care!
Hi Katlupe Love ur pics! Imagine how GREEN it looks to me in New Mexico, even though we've had a wet summer, and it is very pretty and green here, the desert is so different. Can you please tell me what an OMM is, I now know that you can make one on top of a woodstove, That would have been good to know when it was my only heat source, but now I live in Electricville-- don't much care for it either. Hard to switch from cooking on wood/and or gas to electric stove.
Hi Katlupe, how are you? Have you eaten any of the pickles yet? Made me hungry just hearing about them. Hope you are well. Susy/Oonagh
