My friend made me the most delish low carb gumbo! I added a bit of chicken to it to fill it up and I am also going to give it to DH for dinner tonight. This new woe is really fun and I am soooo happy that my cravings are gone....for now at least. I did my hike today and plan to do it again tomorrow. I really like getting in shape and the best thing about this woe (besides the food) is that feeling of being satisfied but not stuffed, bloated and yucky. Its amazing how all of the carbs I craved...

My weight hasnt changed in the last week BUT I have been exercising like a maniac so I just know that I am building muscle which is why I am not showing any difference on the scale. I have been on plan and drinking plenty of water soooooooo I figure: Steady wins the race! To health that is. My clothes are filling loser and I dont have that bloated feeling at all my energy is up and so I figure the weight will catch up (or down ) when its ready.

I am so excited for dinner tonite...

Boy o boy the weekend really went by fast! I got a lot of house cleaning done, spent time with hubby and took a yoga class.....stayed really close to plan but indulged in a cookie (bad girl) but went right back to plan. I had the best bacon cheeseburger (protein style of course) but I kept eyeballing my hubbys fries! In the end I resisted of course. Did my hike today and my walking partner told me she is going out of town next week on business so I have to make it my business to motivate myself...

Wow o' wow it has been a long week. I am so glad its Friday I can just scream. No real drama going on....just a long dull week that seemed to go on for freakin ever. I have a yoga class tomorrow so I am really looking forward to that. I do plan on visiting my mother for a bit (which can be REALLY trying at times) but other than that I plan to exercise and stay on plan, do some housecleaning and work on my quilt. I also cannot believe how close it is to the end of the year. The holidays will...

Our office party is usually late in October....we received invitations today that it is Sept 27th....mmmmm. Thats still more than a month away but it will be here before I know it! I hate shopping for formal/semi formal wear.....hate al the panic and anxiety that I feel at these events....hate all the office chatter about who is going to wear what.....who looked like a stuffed pig at last years party. UGH! The whole thing is annoying. So my game plan is this: I am not going to fool myself...
