| Hi Staci, fitday states 19 total carbs, 11 fiber, would equal 8 NET carbs for 1 C of ground unroasted almonds(or almond meal/flour); 549 calories, 48g fat. HTH Shelley

| The carb count will vary depending on whether you are using almond flour made from blanched (skinless) almonds or whole almonds, which have more fiber. Trader Joe's whole almond meal is listed as follows: 1/4 cup serving contains 171 calories 15 g fat 7 g protein 5 g carb 3 g fiber So, net carbs would be 2 g. A value I found online for blanched almond flour is as follows 1/4 cup serving contains: 164 calories 14 g fat 6 g protein 6 g carb 3 g fiber So, net carbs would be 3 I've read that some almond flours are partially defatted, but I've never seen such a product for sale.

| Thanks Teelbee, I just grind whole almonds up in my food processor. They still have the skins on, so I'll use your info. (which is actually the same as Shelley's now that I look at it!)
