AR, did you just finish your TOM? i always go more toward the end - i suppose the body is letting go of that water weight it holds on to ....
but i'm sure you'll show some movement on the scale!![]()

No doll, oddly mother nature smacked me with menopause when I started this woe and haven't had a TOM since July. BUT looking at the calendar, if I had gotten it, it would be over now.
Your comment made me remember - my Mom said she'd get monthly symptoms after going through the change - could be I'm experiencing the same thing.
(it sure would explain the horrid hungers from a week ago!)

I always seem to go more than I take in when I've kept up my water intake. The older bossman's wife in the office always says it is because I'm losing weight. But of course that is an Old Wife's Tale.![]()

Worry doesn't empty tomorrow of its sorrows, it empties today of its strengths.
AR, take it from this menopausal old broad...I get the symptoms right on schedule (bloating, backache, crabbiness, sore, uh, bosom, raging munchies, the whole enchilada) but no period. And then I go through a few days where I spend more time in the bathroom than in my bed, it seems. I think that's exactly what's going on with you.
Hang in there!! Things should get back to where they should be soon.

Thanks Trina!!
I so seem to have the same old symptoms "on schedule" - good to know it's not all in my head!!
Hey, as long as the water weight is going OFF my bod I'll fine with that!!

Seriously Trina and April Rose? Ach! I've been looking forward to menopause thinking I'd be rid of all that stuff!

I don't think it happens to everyone, Esther, and doesn't last forever, but it's pretty common from what I understand.
It's a good thing to know, though. I thought there was something wrong with me at first. And as we all know, TOM really wrecks havoc with our weight, and some of us will still get the weight fluctuations without the real thing happening, ya know?

April - It sounds like a whoosh to me! Take it any way you can get it!

Well, forewarned is forearmed or however the saying goes! If that happens to me, I'll at least know that it's normal and won't sweat it (if I'm not having a hot flash, that is!)
