Default Regaining focus

I realized for the first time today how important visualizing goals can be. When I hit my goal to be a size 14, I kinda slacked off because this is where I have always felt comfortable and I've always felt really sexy. Though I still want to wear a 12 (9/10 at the least) I'm moving there very slow. I don't want to buy any more clothes in size 14 becuase that's just wasting money. ANYHOW becoming "determined", again, (almost obsessed) with eating right I've been thinking about it alot just what my body is going to feel like, look like, and the different things I'll feel more comfortable doing (I'd REALLY like to wear a bikini one day) there's not a lot I don't feel comfortable doing right now. Another thing is I want to make sure that I don't develop diabetes before it's too late. SO to anyone who's trying to get back on...rechannel the determination you had when you first started. Write down a list of your goals and reasons that you are trying to change your woe in the first place! I haven't been able to get my hands back on my book, so I haven't been able to use that as the motivational tool that so many here do.

Red face Re: Regaining focus

What a great topic! And so appropriate for me, cuz I'm starting induction again. I too, don't want to develop diabetes (like my dad) and end up facing a plethora of health problems (like my dad), AND I don't even want to consider gastric bypass (like my dad).

Thanks for helping me with my focus!
Hugs to you
Kelly
