    Default How many...

Grams (or oz) there are in a cup?

Do you all use some pattern to weight (or quantify) your foods portions? Anyone knows where I can find this equivalence?

Sometimes I think that weight my food is an easy manner to know how much carbs I?m eating. But, in some cases, I can?t find the equivalence (in oz, grams) to register my food in Fitday.
This "cup" measure is so dubious!

    Thanks

Juanna - we americans have such a crazy way of measuring compared to the rest of the world. When my teachers tried to teach me metric in school I remember feeling resistant - whish I had been more open.

Anyway - there are 28.35 gms per ounce of dry measure
USA liquid measure - 2 Tablespoons = one ounce, the 14.2 grms = one tablespoon. 3 teaspoons to a tablespoon - I'll let you figure it out.

100 grams is about 3-1/2 ounces
250 milltr is just over 1 cup

for exact measures do a web search "measurements" - I did some time ago and found a good conversion chart.
    Hope this helps.
