| I've been babystepping my way into the FF plan - certain aspects confuse me beYOND belief. I'd love to chat with you on how you're combining the two WOE.

| AR, I read her book, and really was intrigued with some of the stuff in it. I have been trying some of the things she recommends: I do a smoothie in the morning for breakfast, and add whey protein, flaxseed oil, a splash of unsweetened cranberry juice, stevia, frozen berries, and a sprinkle of psyllium. I tried to drink the long life cocktail, and just couldn't do it; the psyllium in the juice and water is too yucky to me. The smoothie really fills me up and is something I can handle first thing in the morning. I started taking evening primrose caps morning and night; that seems to give me energy. I have cut way back on dairy products...when I took a look at what I ate, I was amazed at how much dairy is in my daily diet. I have been using macadamia nut oil on my veggies instead of butter; I know she says to use flax oil but...the mac oil is good for me and tastes way better on veggies. I couldn't give up coffee, but am down to one (rather large) cup a day. I tried to drink it black, and failed miserably there, too. I also eat a small apple or orange every day as a midmorning snack. Oh, and I use flaxseed oil and ACV on my salad with dinner; it's pretty good, actually. I occasionally take the fresh lemon juice, hot water and stevia thing, too, but I do use Splenda; just not as often. I don't drink the cranwater for two reasons: it's really high in carbs and makes me nervous, and the unsweetened cranberry juice is REALLY expensive. So I guess you could say that I've incorporated some things into my woe, but am not really doing FF. I do feel really good doing this stuff.

| Hi Trina!!! I've added and deleted per my l taste like yourself. As I only drink one 4 - 6 ounce cup of coffee (with cream - cause black coffee??? ewwwww) I am trying to cut that down - but, hey, some mornings are diamonds, some are dust!! I can't stomach the FSO - hurlarama (granted, I could have just gotten a bad batch, but it's not the kind of thing you want to test too often!) And I do the lemon water in the am when I remember (more often then not) The cran water? *URP* - I since switched to POM juice and I only put one ounce in my large (76 oz) water jug. That keeps the urp and cost factor in check. I also use the cranberry pills - she says they don't work - harumph - they do!! Yes, cut down on dairy, but not cut out (life without cheese??? NOOOOOOOO!!) She has btw, some wonderful perimenopause & menopause products through Unikey - helped me BIG time with hot flashes. Also I do recommend the Weight Loss and GLA formulas. Will I ever do it whole hog?? NO, I don't think so, but I've learned A LOT and do feel much better. Have you tried the clorox wash with meat????

| Actually, no. I've heard of this before, but I just can't make myself soak a steak in something I use on socks. I think the idea of using something to rinse off veggies and fruit is probably not a bad idea, with the various outbreaks of e coli and such, but a lamb chop? I dunno. What do you think? As for FSO, I can't just knock back a tablespoon of the stuff; but in a smoothie or mixed with ACV it isn't too bad. Thanks for the tip about the cranberry in pill form. They gotta be cheaper than the juice, and easier to take. I agree about cheese...I've cut back but can't give it up altogether.
