Talking Back Again!

Hello Everyone
New year, but of course the same resolution...LOSE WEIGHT. I was doing really really well last year, but slowly started going back to old habits and before I knew it, *sigh* Gained back 5 pounds so here I am and am going to stick with it this time!! I imagine i'll be going back to induction to kick start myself and to abolish ALL craving demons I am currently having thanks to the holiday season. Have a good day everyone!!

Hi, Tracy. Me, too! I started induction on Monday, and doing fine so far.

I know perfectly well that this WOE suits me best, but sometimes I let a little straying get out of hand. Losing weight isn't my main goal anymore. Keeping it off for the rest of my life is.

In fact, a newspaper article I read today says that ALL of the four diets these researchers tested worked. However, it's the one you can stick with that keeps working! Low carb (Atkins style) has been simple and effective, and I'm back cheerfully.

Best wishes as you go forward with new resolve.

I find lcing the easiest to stick to also - low fat leaves me hungry and tired - ughhh.

Welcome back, Tracy.

Hi Tracy,
Welcome back! I'm on that same boat, probably more like a ship when you consider how many folks are on it! I made the conscious decision to ease up a bit over the holidays and I sure did. I found myself looking forward to the new year and having things settle down a bit. Now I'm ready to get serious again.
