you should really get your mother on the diet as I did. My mother was 65yrs old 185lbs with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and heart angina problems. I am proud to say it is 4yrs later on Atkins 118lbs and havn't seen the inside of a hospital with all normal stats.

Welcome! And thanks for the link....I went to look in my AFL book and remembered I'd loaned it to a friend....a friend that's lost 20 pounds since November and credits ME with the inspiration she needed to lose weight!

Great story and great inspiration! No lowfat eater could read that, see your pictures, and still say their way is best.

Thank you for the kind words. I have won every race entered in last 2 yrs except this year a 2nd at 1 race. won 3 championships along with the overall endurance championship. (so much for loss of energy on Atkins) but they still won't believe.
