Default Wheat Grass Anyone?

hey..i bought some wheatgrass at the healthfood store ...just for the LOOK of it.. very pretty green... anywho... i went to read about it... (wondering why they sold it in a HEALTHFOOD store) and i see if you JUICE it ...its supposed to be great for ya.. but i dont have a juicer... and it says that chewing it doesnt really give ya the benifits that juicing does... but does anyone know if chewing it gives ANY benefits? or is the fiber too much trouble to digest even then..(it said on the websites differing opinions on this ..some say NO benefits.. some say SOME benefits.)
any help would be appreciated... although i BOUGHT it for looks ..i have to trim it often and wondered if i should just toss the clippings or what..
thanks gang!

Hi Kim,

It takes an awful lot of wheatgrass to make a little shot of juice, so your pretty green grass is probably not going to help you nutritionally. But if you ever get a wheatgrass juicer (a little spendy...) that stuff really made me feel great! I used to get shots at a juice bar in Ellensburg, but no such thing available here.

Hi Kim

This kind of juice is one of the "top hits" of summer since 2000-2001 here in Brasil. People take this at beach in health food places and sports academy. They take this during winter too.... brazilian people (specially in Rio de JAneiro) loves health food.

Hugs
Juliana

Kim. LOL! Maybe the health food store sells it by the bottle . . . .

Just do me a favor. Do NOT start a Wheat Grass Challenge. I have enough trouble keeping up with the Green Tea!

You can get wheat grass juice in the healthfood store, already juiced. And, if yoiu have cats, they love to nibble on the wheat grass as it grows!!
