Thumbs up Re: question about fitday

I had this same question too. From what I can see, the program doesn't subtract the fiber from the carb count, but it does list it underneath so I just subtract it myself.

Yep....that's right Subtract your fiber intake from your total carbs when you use fitday.
I have fitday pc version; it is much faster and has a few more little perks that the online version doesn't have.

With the online version, you need to subtract your fiber from the carbs. The PC version, the one you have to pay for, has columns that show the calories, carbs, fiber and carbs - fiber.

It doesn't subtract for individual entries.

However, in the summary chart at the top of the entry page, you'll see Fiber content broken out. It's the chart, about in the middle, called "Calories Eaten Today."

eg. If Total Carbs shows as 34 and fiber as 6--voila, 28 net carbs.

Also, fiber content is listed in the Nutrient information on the screen for individual entries.
