Usually Mornay sauce is made with a roux. Based on some recipes that I have, you are looking at 6-8 grams of carbs per serving of sauce. Depends a lot on how much flour they use in the roux and whether they used milk or cream to make it. It would also depend on how much was in their seving size.

I left most of it on the plate, only eating what was stuck to the shrimp. Weight is down today, so maybe was not to bad, I only had brocculi and salad with it.

Sounds like you're doing a great job of learning to eat out "lc"

That's pretty much the same approach I take with sauces when, there's no "non-sauced" choice and I'm not sure what's in them. I just sort of make sure there's not much clinging to the item that I'm REALLY interested in.
