I gained. What's up with THAT! :( Good grief, I get soooooo tired of this. If I can only lose 10 pounds per year and keep it off, I'll be 47 by the time I get to my goal. At this rate, I will be. But there's "nothing wrong" with my thyroid!

Apparently, my body is in "housecleaning" mode, 'cuz I am down 3 pounds from yesterday. I'm hoping it sticks and I can finally move down from there. How is everyone else doing?

Good for you Maxi!

Doing fine here - except for the lc brownies that found their way into my kitchen. I had one yesterday, and put the rest in the freezer. They are way too good to keep out much. We have had the worst weather lately, so no riding bikes with the kiddies - time to get back on the treadmill or something. I have been cleaning house furiously, got family coming this weekend, so maybe some of that counts as exercise.

So far starting today out right - scrambled egg, bacon, few slices of strawberries, and green tea, of course.

WTG Max!!!!! :jumpgreen

Angie, at least they were LC!!!! I make Atkins LC brownies every once in awhile. Sometimes you just gotta have a treat!!!!

I've managed to maintain in the 130's now for a good month. But I'm still wobbling again. It seems that when we lose a couple pounds, the body wobbles for awhile. Don't ya wish it would just stop, lose and keep going!???

Thanks, ya'll! I was down yet another pound today. See? That's what eating right, exercising, drinking water, taking supplements, and sleeping will do for me. Now if I could just get my $#!% together EVERY DAY!! LOL!

Angie, that sounds like a typical breakfast for me, too!

Yep, Max we know what works, so why, oh why don't we stick to it ALL the time????

I'm on the verge of TOM, feeling bloated and have a couple extra pounds on me. My rings and watch are still REALLY loose on me, so I know this is TOM weight. My eating hasn't been stellar of late, still LC, but snacking a lot. I seem to get the muchies around that TOM time.

Well, much to my amazement, I was at 225 when I weighed in this morning!

I slept the clock around last night. I nodded off while watching "NUMB3RS" at 9:00 last night, got off the couch and went to bed at 1:00 a.m., then got up at 9:30 this morning. I was so tired. And my body must've needed the sleep.

I really thought I had a few too many snacks yesterday, but it was (at least) healthy snacks. I did good on water, I worked out yesterday morning, and I got 12 hours of sleep....right after I washed down my supplements. So, the BIG 5 works again.

It's really nice here, 55-60 degrees, a little wind and clear. Ya never know what you're gonna get in Texas! It was almost 90 Thursday! I keep sweats and shorts next to the bed to change into after work.
I'm trying to talk myself into taking a walk. I could borrow DD's CD player since she's at Granny's this weekend. I need to find myself a new walking partner.

Yeah, Barb....I've got about 12 days until TOM is due here, so I really want to get another couple of pounds gone before then. The only craving I ever really have during that time is for chocolate.

My sister found some of the sugar-free chocolate coated macadamia nuts that Muana Loa made for a while. They have malitol in them, but if I only eat a single serving size: I think it's 7 nuts, it doesn't bother me. She bought me 3 bags (on clearance) and I bought her a bunch of s/f candy during the after Easter sales. So, we're supposed to meet to trade candy soon. She doesn't like macadamias. I love them.

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a good weekend. And Melissa....if you are out there and maybe reading this: I miss you!

Alright Max!!!!! The big five does it again!!!!

I found some sugar-free chocolate covered almonds at Walgreen's. They have a little maltitol in them too, but also splenda. They don't bother me too much either, so they are my new obsession. I don't buy them very often, maybe once a month thing. (for TOM time )

Been workin' hard out in the yard all weekend, but the scale prolly won't show it cuz of TOM impending. It takes my body sooooooooo long to decide it's ready, so in the mean time, I get a good two weeks of gradual bloat. It's frustrating.

I have to get back to the BIG 5 myself!!!! I've been dismal on my water consumption.

I had a great weekend with family, but terrible food wise. I did get many compliments on my weight loss so that's a real boost. Just plain ate too much - but back on track now. I'm just hoping we get some nice weather again so I can get back on the bike. Its been rainy and a bit chilly lately.

I hope everyone has a great week!

I actually had a good April. I started out at 234 and ended at 225, but I am STILL up 4 pounds from last fall when I was down to 221. So, don't feel too bad, MK.

I didn't exercise at all on Saturday and I'm convinced that's why I was back up 1 pound today to 226. So, I did a workout on the homegym, and then DH and I walked once around our neighborhood, which is half a mile. I wore ankle weight (5lb. each) and carried hand weights (3 lb. each). And I ate on plan this weekend, so I'm feeling pretty good right now.

My highest weight ever was 250 (for one day!) and I am at 226, which is 24 pounds down from there. That's right at 10%. I've read several times where losing at least 10% of your body weight can help your health alot. So, maybe I'm not in the body I want yet, but I AM healthier.

How was everyone else's weekend?

BTW- I started a new "5-a-day" challenge. I need to get back to eating my 5 fruits and veggies every day. If any of you want to join, just come on over!

Saw that 5 a day thing - count me in, really need that accountability! So where is everyone? Is everyone else getting that nice warm weather I am still waiting on? It's just so chilly out - makes me want to hibernate - I've been so tired lately.

Hanging in there with making good food choices, just need to get my rear moving in the exercise dept.

Hey, girls! Just bumping us up. TOM is here and I'm craving big-time! I had over a cup of l/c ice cream and 2 ZCarb bars today. I'm gonna really try to white-knuckle my way through tomorrow and NOT overdo it! I'm only up a pound so far, but I'm sure it will be more tomorrow.

How are you all doing?

Wow, posting to this thread sure has diminished. Well, my body is still in turtle status - I did have a few good weeks of losing, but seem to be back in a rut - trying to get to the single digits in the 200's. My body just doesn't know what to do with that; it's been so long.

Anyway, I have been way to laxed lately with choices, so that has got to change. I'm trying to get all my water in, but that hasn't been going too good either - sound like I'm falling apart...I'll get it together yet! How's everyone else doing?

Hey, biddy. I'm right here, falling apart, too. I've got to go back on Induction or something. I just feel like I'm out of control right now. No cheats...I just don't have my act together. Now that this stress-filled week is over, maybe I can get up in the morning and make a clean start. I'll get enough sleep, take my supplements, exercise, drink ALL my water and eat right. That's my winning combination....if I could only get it together every day!
