| Alright, it's Spring and time for a new beginning!!!! Let's get those pounds off Turtles!!!! Let's get some more exercise and work our plans. We can do this!!!!! I am soooooooo ready to come out of hibernation, are you????? Maxi, confession is good for the soul. You are on your way to a new beginning. You can do it!!!!!

| Welcome Spring! Here's my joke of the month: If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring? Answer: Pilgrims! Okay, so it's not that funny, but it's cute. I had a good day again today. I was down (drumroll please) 3 pounds as of this morning! Here's my Big 5 report: Exercise:I haven't exercized yet, unless you want to count my frantic house-cleaning and laundry-doing this morning. I will probably hop on the Gazelle tonight for a while. Water: not so good. I've had "liquids" in the form of green tea and diet Coke, but not enough water......YET. Supplements: I'll take them after we eat. (We ordered pizza.....when it gets here, I'll scrape the toppings off a couple pieces of "Meatlover's" and have a salad. Don't get me wrong....I'd LOVE to have the whole slice. But, between the carbs and the wheat, I'd be back up those 3 pounds tomorrow!) Eating on plan: my sister bought me some lowcarb candy....the kind that DOESN"T make me sick, so I had it after we ate at Chick-fil-a for lunch. I had a protien shake and a small pear for breakfast. Sleep: I was in dreamland at 11:00 last night and I slept until 8:30 this morning. I'd say that's plenty of sleep. I do good on weekends....it's the weekdays I have the problem with! Soooo, I need to get in quite a bit more water, my supplements, and a mile on the Gazelle. How's everyone else's weekend shaping up?

| :silly: Cute joke! Ready for a fresh new and healthy month! Sounds like a great start for April, Maxi! I am leaning to do the same. After being sick, I'm ready to get back to exercising. Everything else has been falling in line, just need to get back on the ball and treadmill. My friend from college is getting married and has asked me to be a bridesmaid, so I want to look good in that dress, ya know? Time to get busy.

| Cute joke Max!!! As our beloved Dr. Phil says, "we can't change what we don't acknowledge." So you are on the right road, acknowledging where you need to make changes...............GOOD GOING!!!! Angie, boy, if being a bridesmaid doesn't motivate, I don't know what will. My goal this week is to dig my bike out of the garage sometime. Once I get this chair done, I'll be riding my bike to the store to buy steaks for grilling. It's a reward system I'm setting up for myself. I told myself today that if I get the tulips painted on the chair today, I will reward myself with having time to get the bike out. THEN, if I want steak on the grill, I HAVE to ride the bike to the store. Don't know if that will happen today, but I'll try!!!!!!

| How's it going girls? My kids are on spring break, and I've been acting like I am too. My food choices have not been stellar to say the least. We've been picnicing at the parks, so I've been just grabbing bars and such. I need to throw a salad together or something. And water...what's that? I just need to get it together!

| Spring Break was a hard week for me, too! I'm still on track and down 2 more pounds. I got up early and exercised a bit, took my supplements, and drank 32 oz. of water before 7:30 a.m. It feels good mentally and physically to get that jump on the day. I've said it before and I'll say it again: when I eat right, drink enough water, get enough sleep, take my supplements, and EXERCISE, I can lose weight. But that's it. That's the gotta-do-it combination. That's what MY body has to have in order for me to lose. So be it. How's everyone else doing?

| I got up and exercised again! My weight stayed the same (TOM is almost here, ya know). I've taken in quite a bit of water today. I ate pretty good until I had some fried okra w/ketchup. That was the worst thing I've eaten since April 1st, when I started over. I took my supplements after dinner. And I'm going to bed in just a few minutes. Am I all alone here? :(

| No you're not alone!!!! I'm still here, just been ultra busy. Work is revving up now, they're starting to ask people to come in for overtime.............I'm grabbin it while the grabbin is good. I weighed in at 137.2 this AM, my all time LOW!!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!! A lady at Curves referred to me as "little" yesterday.........boy did THAT feel good!!!! :jumpgreen

| Hi Maxi. I'm still around. Have gotten back into exercising - Yeah - doing 2 m WATP - and working my way back up to more intense work outs. Trying to get 'good eating' back into my head. Haven't been doing well at that. Easter was a killer. The sugar demon is back in control and I have to kill it. I did get a body-flex kit yesterday. mostly just cause I liked the gym bar thing they have - I can do in my office while thinking about work. working towards getting back to sig.

| Hey, Barb and MK! Barb, congrats on your new low! I've been at the same weight for a couple of days, but that's okay 'cuz TOM is here.....I guess. I removed the "NuvaRing", and TOM is supposed to ensue sometime during the 7 days I am without a ring. I haven't had any PMS symptoms, and it's just been what I would call spotting/staining. If that's all I have while using "the Ring", I'm all for it! DH is going out of town, and DD is going to Granny's, so I'll have lots of time to "visit" with you all this weekend. Hugs to my buds!

| IF I make some major progress on this chair and they don't call me into work tomorrow, I'll be here more. I'm working time-and-a-half tomorrow from 4:30-6:30 PM. Did that today and yesterday too. So I will have put in 6 hrs of time.+..half this week........SuhWEEEEET!!!!

| Good for you, Barb. I had a good day today, except I did not exercise. But, the weekend is here and there is more time for that now. I was down 2 pounds this morning, and TOM is here.....how weird is THAT? Where is everyone? Are there no more turtles out there? Have a good, safe weekend everyone!

| I'm still crawling along. But I have managed to get in walking EVERY morning for the last 12 days. Today I'm gonna try the 3 mi tape. No promises. Have had good food days 2 in a row - thats a recent record. Weekend will be hard, but I'm feeling ready to handle it. scale said 185.8 this morning.

| Mary Kay, I was telling someone here that we all seem to take our turn (except precious few) having a tough time on the WOE. Things happen and we struggle to get back on track. I've read it in countless posts and journal, including my own. You've done really well and you look great in your pictures. Hang in there, you'll be at a new low weight before you know it! I guess those late-night sunflower seeds didn't hurt me too much! They are my "safe" snack for late night 'putering! I'm always careful to drink extra water with them, since they are so salty. I must be in deep ketosis now...(I forgot to check with a stick), but I woke up this morning and I was not ravenous! And I was down another pound. I think sleeping is just as important as exercise to me. When I get enough sleep, my weight loss seems to increase. It's BEAUTIFUL here now.....the high is supposed to be around 80. There's not a cloud in the sky, the sun is shining and everything is green and/or blooming. So, I'd better get out there and walk today, before this Texas sun becomes to cruel for that! By June or July it will be like the Sahara here. Have a good day, everyone. (How's the chair, Barb?)

| I'm still around too! Just been busy with working extra hours and entertaining the kids. This weekend they are all at Grandma's, so that gives DH and I some much needed time together - and peace and quiet. It's been wonderful, and when I stepped on the scale, I saw 2lbs gone - so that just sealed the deal! We are having wonderful weather too. I've been out cleaning out the beds, getting the perennials ready for their bloom - love days like this. It sounds like we are on back on track! Yeah!
