Thanks so much, Carolyn, for coming to the Hallmark event in Austin. It was great meeting one of my online LCE friends in person. That's a first for me.

Good advice to anybody here...visit Austin! What a beautiful city in style and spirit. Of course, it didn't hurt that the weather was glorious, and the wildflowers were in bloom everywhere. It's also the hometown of Whole Foods, and fresh veggies are a lifestyle.

It was fun meeting you Barb, and me too first time meeting anyone in person from this site... we are all there for each other, and we talk to each other about a lot of things we maybe not with others, but to put a real face/person to the name, icon, etc. was truely wonderful....
if you have the Hallmark people come to your town, get out and visit with them, even if Barb isn;t there, it was fun talking about cards, etc...
(there was just something on travel channel about the Hallmark Co, 'made in america series" so it was kind of neat)
anyway, as barb says, come on down to texas, (espec. austin) - a little partial) best time is spring, and worst time is dead of summer.
there is lots to do, everykind of terrain, ....
