Default Need some help please

Hi everyone,

It's been a few weeks since my last visite, i've had a lot of ups and downs.

I'm just about getting over a dreadful virus that was rampant in my town, everyone was at the Dr, it was mostly respiratory but i got infection in my mouth and thrush and sinus infection, needless to say Atkins went out the window, i wasn't eating much at all.

At the moment i'm on steroids as antibiotics didn't do anything, iv'e about three days left on them and what i would like to ask you is do i have to start back on induction to get myself going again, i don't feel that i have gained weight, i didn't want to get on the scales, if i have gained the meds would have sent everything astray i think.
If i have to go back to induction i would dread the headaches although i'm off tea and only have a cup of decaf coffee with cream a day so should not have withdrawals.
What do you think i should do, i feel drained adter all the meds and would like to get them out of my system.

Many thanks to all.

Brona

Brona, there's no reason why you can't sort of "back into" ketosis, by reducing your carbs a bit each day, until you get there.

Sorry to hear you've been so under the weather, but I'm glad you're on the mend.
