| Speaking from personal experience... "When working out is it better to sip water or green tea?" "What about after the workout?" "Does it matter if the green tea is decaf or not?" GeeGee |

| I always drink water when working out GeeGee. Although I do remember - my Tao Master often had a flask of green tea after big sessions - so I guess its fine to do that. I never have decaf anything - and I'm pretty sure he would have fainted dead away at the thought of decaf green tea!!! |

| Tea can be a diuretic--drying you out rather than hydrating you. IMO, green tea is awesome as an ADDITION to water, not a replacement for it, and after any strenuous exercise, I would think water would be a much better choice than green tea. Just my opinion.
