    Default returning for good

After a long time of being confused, I am back once again, I've found that this was the place that helped me along my way on Atkins. From 220 - 183, now Im back to 195 (I was just at 202) which was a HUGE wake up call, I hadn't seen the 200 number for over a year, it was pretty easy to get back up there, I started not paying attention to what I ate, just being careless and pretty much giving up completely. Although all my clothes still fit, TIGHT, I was in denial.

Now I have the hugest wake up call, I am having spinal fusion, from the front and back, my L5 - S1, so I NEED to lose weight, its not a choice anymore, its something that I have to do. I must at least lose 20 lbs by surgery (mid december), I started a week ago eating induction, not ONE cheat nothing, doing pretty well. I need to be here for support and to be inspired by all of you.

    Thank you

Welcome back and best of luck with the surgery in December. Sounds like quite an involved proceedure. Keep us posted!

    Thank you girls

I just made an awesome dinner of spinach/cream cheese stuffed chicken breasts, and made the yummy pumpkin cheesecake for dessert.

    YUM gotta love this WOL.

Glad to have you back and good luck with induction! My husband had a spinal fusion in Sept of last year. He is still recovering very slowly and now the doc is talking about removing his hardware (for a total of 6 back surgeries!) Good luck with the surgery, I truly hope it helps you. He got a warning from his doc to lose weight also, which is why we started this WOE. He is down 40 pounds and his doc is very happy. Doc still wants more losses, but we all know it takes time!

    See you around!
    Heather
