    Default snack ideas for induction

Hey guys, low-carb vet here, been going strong since May of 2002 with the LC lifestyle. I'm back on induction right now just trying to take off those last few pounds and to get back on track after Thanksgiving.

I'm looking for some good snack ideas, I'm really getting tired of the usual cheese and pepperoni.

Only 7.5 pounds to my goal!!

    thanks

Raw veggies are my favorite. I like to cut up some celery, cukes, radishes, mushrooms, whatever, & dip in something like sour cream & blue cheese dressing.

    Matty -
    Snack things that I use:

Pickles - I buy a big jar from walmart and have one for snack - filling and carb friendly
    Celery with cream cheese
Deviled eggs - they don't pack well - but they are delicious!
Nuts (not on induction but great otherwise)

HOpe this helps you out some!

Congrats on your loss so far...almost to goal that's fantastic!

I like raw broccoli and cauliflower...I ate a ton at the end of the day today with my blue cheese dressing.

    Hard boiled eggs.

Cheese of course which you are sick of so that doesn't help...

Hmm, I can't think of other actual snack foods that I personally eat that would be ok for induction because I usually just eat a little of whatever I have like lc coleslaw or a breakfast sausage when I'm at home.

Shred some Zucchini, add some eggs, grated cheese, mozzerella, garlic, and fry until golden brown on each side. Crispy and yummy in my tummy :-)

I like sunflower seeds, too. But Matty needs to save them for after induction.

You're right, Franny. I've got to measure, too.

Oh man that reminds me...! I found these only once and they were so yummy. Sour Cream and Onion sunflower seeds and they had barbecue as well. They were from planters and one package was 7 carbs 4 grams of fiber.

Olives. The gourmet kind you get at the olive bar in a health food grocery store. Two or three of these big babies, and you're good to go.

If you want to get fancy, take a thin slice of deli ham, spread it with cream cheese (with herbs even nicer), stick on a few olives (I like green ones here). Roll it up. Eat as a finger, or slice it into canapes.
