| I had a very "nutty" day today... The diet goes well, but I had a few halves of picants, and I was about to die from itching. I did not stop breathing (smile), but developed stuffy nose symptoms and I felt like my body was swelling all over... Allergy? I am eating nuts since my childhood, nothing like that ever. My body is looking like wearwolf was trying to get me... I have scratches all over... What a NUT case... I hope this is not a true allergy, the nose thing cleared up within an hour or so, but still itching. Today, I had the "ugly" sugar free chocolate pudding, lots of vegies, a pickle, and fried chicken. Just trying to rule out the source of itching... ????? |

| My father develops an itching problem whenever he eats aspartame. Perhaps the sugar free pudding is your culprit. |

| Oh, my, Rafaella. Be careful. An allergy can pop up at any time, and then can go away just as quickly. I have had major reactions (all over huge hives) to sulfa drugs, aspirin, and anything made of corn. I can take aspirin now, and if I weren't doing lc, I could probably eat corn, but during the times the allergy was there, I'd break out in hives really bad. Since nuts can be such a problem for some, you be careful. If you have another reaction, take some Benadryl, and if that doesn't help, get to a doctor. (I really don't mean to scare you, but allergies aren't things to mess around with.) Then again, maybe you just have very dry skin...????

| Rob, you are right, It could be the Aspartime - evil. I know for fact that I can't drink some diet drinks cause it will give the headache from Aspartime. I believe that itching could be caused by the same evil element. Thanks, guys, Dieting is not an easy task, but overweight is something even more difficult to live with. |

| I develoed a milk allergy late in life that gave me terrible consequneces when I had anything dairy that amazingly only lasted six months and when I got pregnant went away as quickly as it started which was good because I loved my milkshakes when pregnant (surprisngly I didn't gain that much weight while pregnant) It's good if it is the aspartame becuase you can avoid that without missing out. If it were the nuts that would be awful for a nut lover. I love nuts and would cry if I had to avoid them all together.

| Yes, I guess, I will be careful and just watch which one is giving me an allergic reaction. Shame, if I wont be able to eat nuts. |
