Default I'm Back!

Good Morning all,

I haven't been here in such a long time (over a year to be exact!) I wish I could tell you that I was doing well....but I'm not. I've gained all the weight that I had lost and some!

It wasn't until last night that I actually sat on the couch and told myself that I have to get ahold of myself and get back on the waggon. I feel like I'm so out of control it isn't funny. My BP is soo high, I just know my Doctor is going to freak when she sees me next!

I feel soo spaced out and tired all the time. I've feel as though I've been in a carb coma for the past eight months.

I'm going back on induction and Kyle had decided that he will join me on my new way of eating. Kyle and I started dating in February and have been inseprable ever since. He is also overweight and said that he could lose 50 pounds. We had a chat last night and I know that he would not pick up Atkin's book and read it, so I gave him him a crash course on how this WOE works.

As I reflect on where I went wrong, I now know not to make those mistakes again to be back on square one. I cleaned out the cupboards and fridge this morning! It actually felt really good.

Thanks for listening.

Hi, Anik. Glad to hear you're back on the low carb wagon. What a great start, cleaning out all your high carb stuff. A big pat on the back for you and Kyle!

It's great that you're going to start the low-carb journey together. Please remember NOT to compare results. Guys seem to have an advantage over us gals when it comes to losing lbs. quickly. Sharing the menu really helps in making LC a lifestyle.

Best wishes.

WB Anik! I remember you

My DH does LC, and he won't read the book either. I gave him a crash course on what he could eat while he's out of my sight and every day he tells me what he ate so that I can plan appropriately for his evening snack. If I'm planning to make something with some extra carbs for dinner, I tell him in the morning so that he eats really clean at lunch.

Thank you so much for your support! Last night was tough, thank goodness I cleaned out the apartment! I ended up reorganizing my Tupperware containers!

Thanks for the reminder Barb! I remember my mother use to always be depressed when my father would lose the weight faster then she did!

Take care....

Anik
