My pk roast/slaw/salad dinner was divine last night. I think I'll have leftovers for lunch today.

I really appreciate the comments that this induction is not dropping the weight as fast as before. I thought it was just me. I started on Jan. 2nd and today I am down a total of 4 lbs. A birthday celebration yesterday and I got into the SF chocolates. I stopped at 3 truffles which tasted great but afterwards my stomach felt uncomfortable. I recalled the thread about maltitol and realized that's how it effects me. Plus I think it also triggers cravings in me. I mean I closed the box and went to sleep so I wouldn't eat any more. I put the box in the freezer this morning.
No parties tonight to back the gym for me. I need to increase my time there.
I'll pick up a bbq chicken on the way home that always keeps me legal for a few meals.
Everyone is doing so great, thanks for being here!

beware the bbq sauce - it probably has sugars in it.

OH Yea, beware of the sauce!!!! I find Kraft and Carb Options both have REALLY good LC bbq sauce. You might want to get some PLAIN chicken and sauce it yourself if you can find these brands of bbq sauce at your local stores. (I don't know what the market is bearing these days up dere in da Nortland.)

I did my "load up with 2 gallons of liquid" thing and stepped on the scale. (a gallon weighs about 7 lbs I believe.) So............LOW and Behold I've dropped a pound. WOOHOO!!!!!

I guess I'm STILL a glacial turtle too, MK!!! Oh Well, it's time I cleansed my system anyway.

I've only taken off 3 lbs since starting on Jan 4 - so talk about sssslllooowww! I keep at it, but it does get a little discouraging. I think you might be right on with the water thought, Barb. I haven't been getting in as much as I should, maybe that's why I'm not losing as much - or maybe there's no excuse...

My new year induction was fine for restoring my essential low-carbness, and I'm back to my baseline weight--3 or 4 lbs. down from post-holiday. I sorta kinda wanted something more dramatic, but I did manage to interrupt a few bad habits (too many nuts, for one.) Today, back to a (slightly) more liberal LC.

Down another 2 lbs this week, for a total induction loss of 8 lbs. I'm very pleased with that!
On to OWL...who else is going?

WOW, look at you guys!!!! Good going.

I completely blew it yesterday. I attended a Red Hatters' Luncheon. I had a smidge of a dessert there. (Hangs head in shame) so I dug out my WATP DVD and did a mile. I am going to do another one today, to work somemore naughtiness off.
