Default Continuos weight loss - how to achieve it?

I understand the concept of LC in our daily life. Initially, the body is loosing inches and water and trying to adjust to new WOL. How does this work in the long run? Did I miss something from Dr. Atkins book? How do you keep lossing more and more weight if you are doing the same exercise program, eating the same amnt of carbs every day, and drink the same amnt of water?
If I reach the point of my total carbs ( say 30-40 day), and stop loosing weight, do I need to keep reducing my daily carb intake to keep with continuos weight loss or increase my mobility level or shake and change my grocery list?
Thanks.

Rafaella.

Rafaella, you can go to the Atkins site or Google CCL (critical carb level?) or ACE (an older term used by Dr. A, but means the same thing.) These are carefully calculated amount of carb grams you can eat to continue to lose weight. I could tell you, but they do a much better job of explaining it there. HTH

You need to cut your calories. You need to experiment. There is no point in asking other people how YOUR body works.

I have tried all sorts of things and the only thing that is LOWLY getting me out of a 6 month period without losing any weight (not inches) is to cuto down calories, cut down cheese, cream, flax etc.

It's a fairly simple concept. When you reach goal, slowly start adding carbs back into your diet, usually in the form of more and different veggies and fruits until you figure out your CCL. It varies for everyone. Mine is about 40 to 50 carbs a day. My childbride's is 70 to 80 a day. Any more than that, and we gain; any less than that, and we lose.
I initially lost 105 lbs in 18 months and have maintained my goal weight for almost 6 years. I was one of this sites first "Success Stories". I've gotten to the point where I instinctively know which foods are OK and which are not OK.
For instance, when I was losing, as much as I love a cold beer, I couldn't stomach light beer - it tasted horrible to me. So I guit drinking beer until I had acheived goal. Then I started adding the occasional beer - real, full bodied beer - with meals that I associated with beer ; Shiner Bock with chili and barbaque, Bohemia with TexMex, Newcastle Brown Ale with pot roast, etc. I think the dining experience is enhanced by such combinations. But I always figure it into my 40 - 50 a day CCL. I don't count calories or fat, and it seems to work for me.

Thanks, Dan,
I do appreciate your response. Basically, it takes time to "figure out" what's work and how... Than, to regulate your carbs in accordance to your methabolism and weight loss rate. I love coffee, I guess, this is my BEER.LOL
Have a great day,
Rafaella.

P.S. For the other reply above - thank you, but I did not asked you about "how my body works." I will find out for myself. And YES, there is a point of posting this question - I am trying to learn and communicate with other folks, who done more than I did, and saw the ways of " what is working and what's don't." Everything on this website has some point - less, more, it is all about LEARNING from each other.
You too have a great day from Raffy.

After reading this thread, and having read some of your other posts, I have come to the conclusion that you must be the rudest active poster on this forum.

We are hear to learn from each other, we are also here to support each other. Personally, I myself am here because I enjoy the friendly atmosphere, I come on this forum every day and it makes me feel I am not alone in this method of eating.

You are the one person on this forum but spoils my experience for me, although sometimes your posts give me something to laugh at.
