Ok I?m so excited this morning. I was getting a little frustrated cuz the scale had not moved in almost 3 and a half weeks!

Usually I try not to let it bother me because I know the stupid thing lies! But even though we tell ourselves that ?the scale does not matter, inches count more? Who are we kidding really when you know yourself that it can get really annoying when the stupid thing doesn?t move or you keep loosing and gaining the same damn 2 pounds.

I was really getting annoyed with it, especially when DH would get on it and tell me, ?hon I lost another 3 pounds?. I was actually getting to the point where I was going to throw the scale off the balcony!

Mind you, I did lose a couple of inches here and there, and my pants aren?t a tight anymore. But that cruel scale was still not moving!

Finally, this morning I did my ritual prior to getting on the scale! (I don?t know about you, but when I weigh myself, I go through my ritual of getting totally undress, I make sure that I?ve gone to the washroom and then I weigh myself!)

The scale read???.185! Whoo hoo!! I then did the happy dance!

Anik - I can relate...I get up first thing in the morning - hit the restroom...then the scale - before I take a shower.. ;-) Can't weigh after - my hair is wet! *laughing*

Congrats! I do this little ritual of getting on and off to check/rezero the scale and then take the last 2 readings. Now that I look at it... It must be quite a sight. You know every ounce counts when we are looking to lose over 300 of them.
We all have our little dances huh.

Way to go Anik!!! That's awesome. And yes, I do the same thing regarding the scale. And my jewelry well those huge diamond earrings must weight a pound each!! I'll have to take them off next time!

This is great news, and these things we do are too funny! I actually DO weigh with wet hair because I found out one day, when I forgot to weigh before the shower, that my bodyfat measurement is much different (more accurate - and lower!) with slightly damp feet. (This improves the connection with the sensors.)

Anik! You go girl!! Oh yeah, first the waste disposal then the strip down completely - I even take off my glasses!!! Am I pathetic or what! and Never, EVER take all those supplements and vitamins until the weighing is over!

My DH insists that if he weighs beofre the shower and then weighs after the shower (and drying the -not much- hair) - he's always less after the shower (does the slick in the hair and the dead skin weigh that much? - is this just TMI? ugh!)..

OMG! I never thought of the glasses thing! I could actually be a couple of ounces lighter!

I never thought of weighing after my shower though. I'll try it next time!
