Question whey protein mix????

Hi Everyone
I bought some whey protein mix today (choc flavour) which I thought I might mix with water or soy milk to use as a breakfast shake.28g of powder contains 105 cal,19.1g protein and 2.7g carbs of which 1.2g sugar.
I'm not good at eating first thing in the morning.I havent used this stuff before, any suggestions for use other than as a straight shake.
I will try anything once!!!!

If you've made the one minute muffin, you can use whey powder. I used vanilla flavor, and it gave the muffin a totally different texture. Or mix it half and half with flaxseed. It's a really good source of protein, and tastes way better than soy protein.

I make a breakfast muffin using vanilla whey and gold flax seed meal. But my favorite is still the chocolate shake in the morning. Just use water, as whey is basically milk solids anyway. The recipe on the container says one scoop per serving, but I double it. Use ice cold water - it makes for a thicker shake.

Thanks guys,

Not tried the muffins yet but will do,sounds like a good way to get extra flax into my diet.
Dan if the shakes taste okay with water thats the way I will go.No use eating extra carbs/cals if they aren't needed.

Liz, My name is Barb and I am a chocolaholic. (there I said it)

I buy the Atkins Chocolate Shakes and add a scoop of choc. whey powder, a TBS of cocoa powder, a dash of chocolate sugar-free syrup, blend it in a ginormous cup and guzzle it down. (sometimes I sip cuz it tastes sooooo good) I think they end up being about 5 carbs. Sooooo yummy!!!!

I also will use whey powder in the one minute muffins.

I get that you can't eat a big breakfast in the morning. I am sometimes the same way, especially if I am up REALLY early. The shake fits the bill. (or if I'm in a huge hurry and need to down something really fast.)
