I took Tylenol Night Time Flu Capsules last night and I am out of Ketosis on Induction!!! Has anyone else experienced this? What do you take for a cold?

If you're sick and you need the medicine, take the medicine. I mean, taking care of yourself when you're sick precludes anything else, to my way of thinking.

I usually get the Dayquil (or store brand equivalent) gel caps. If I have a cough, I get the Tussin for Diabetics.

If you're sick, you need to take care of it, and it's not that hard to get back into ketosis once you're well again.

The Tylenol is the only thing I took! And the only thing I did different. But, I will check for Ketosis again tonight.

Welcome to low-carb eating.
The food's not bad here.

You may not have been kicked out of ketosis at all. The test strips do not test for all types of ketone bodies. Also, the time of day and how much water you drink can impact what you see on the test strips.
