I have used Wal-Mart's Equate brand of multi-symptom capsual appropriate for what my symptoms were. Good luck.

If you have a cough, you can take sugar-free cough syrup made for diabetics. You can get it at WalMart. Most cold formulas just have decongestant and/or antihistamine and pain killer. Just take what you need for your symptoms.

And don't forget your vitamin C and lots and lots of water!

lots of Traditional Medicinal teas... These always work for me - they are amazing.... you can buy them in most large supermarkets...and certainly in any Whole Foods, health food stores, organic shops, etc... - http://www.traditionalmedicinals.com...eason+products

I mean, no sense giving the big pharmceutical industries your money for the loatloads of chemical they sell - in addition to all that sugar!!

I swear by the Throat Coat, any of the Tussins, and the Cold Care PM is wonderful before bed

Good luck and I hope you are feeling WAY better - soon!

I just had a bit of a cold myself, I swear by Zicam to shorten or stop a cold in it's tracks but I had run out. It's not cheap but it really works.

I have a new product called Theraflu Thin Strips. No sugar as far as I can tell. Seemed to work to handle the symptoms until I got to the store two days later to get more Zicam.

Hope you feel better.
