In the morning KC STAR, your team leader Lisa seems to have "lost it" last week--and gained some. Poor Lisa. Wish we could convert her to low-carb and give her a better chance.
For those of you visiting this thread, I'm referring to a weight loss challenge being conducted by the local newspaper. Goddess is one of their cheerleader-coaches.
Turns out our team leader Lisa doesn't want to track her eating. No diary for that gal, oh no! If only she could realize how important tracking is for us successful losers. Seeing what you eat is one way to stay honest--and also to determine where you can make changes.
And apparently she's having a hard time with "cheats." Taste-testing the chocolate chips cookies she's baking for co-workers?? Now why would she take on a project like that?? Buying a whole bag of "baked Lays" chips and keeping them around the house? Treating her niece (and herself) to ice cream cones? Whoa. I couldn't handle that much temptation.
And while walking on the treadmill is definitely a good thing, it won't burn off as many extra calories as you think. Too bad, Lisa. Try again.
And if you pay any attention at all to your coach, goddess, you'll think again about the advantage of low-carb.:great:
