Default What do you think of these products?

Has anyone ever tried any of these? What do you think of them?

1. Stallone High Protein Pudding

2. Soybean pasta (a little reluctant to try this. has anyone else?) I don't "need" pasta, but it might be a nice addition for variety.)

3. ***Scratch this***Mama Lupe's Low Carb Tortillas. These have only 3 impact carbs per torilla. The ones at the grocery store have 7 or 10. I can't use 7 to 10 carbs on a tortilla, so these have my interest.

4. Twist. YUM!!! I haven't tried it, but it looks sooooo good!!!

None of these are things I would include daily, but if they have good reviews, I'd love to add some variety to my diet!

Michelle, Netrition sells Mama Lupe's tortillas. The 3rd ingredient is "enriched flour", meaning plain old white flour. The first 2 ingredients are water and whole wheat flour. I personally won't eat anything with white flour in it. I'm afraid the starch would trigger cravings. Can't tell you about the other things, though.

Yikes! That's good to know. I stay away from that, too. Darn! I was hoping for a tortilla. :(

I've had the Stallone pudding. It was ok. It might be a once in a month food for me though (It was much better than the Atkin's shake ), but not quite as good as a "mock danish"

Berries and fresh whipped cream is also better

Thanks for your input, Sven. I might try it. I'm afraid to add berries to my diet just yet. May sound strange...chocolate over berries, but I do better with a little chocolate than some berries.

Rosie -

At first, I added a FEW blueberries with my cottage cheese every other morning. It made it more palatable to eat cottage cheese so often. Now, it's more like a weekly or every-other-weekly treat. Where after a nice Saturday/Sunday night meal, we have berries and whipped cream while we watch a movie after a nice dinner.

Even a tiny taste of the twist gave me severe intestinal stress. Unfortunately it was SO GOOD tasting that I was in constant intestinal distress when I had it in the house. I won't even buy it this time around!

I don't know about the pasta that you have shown here, but I've done okay with Dreamfield's as a once a month or every other week thing.

Hmmm.....so I guess I'll stay away from Twist. Too bad...looks yummy. Thanks for the input, Katie.

I have tried the chocolate Stallone pudding. It was nice chilled and then half a can mixed with yoghurt. I am not sure I would buy it again as it was quite expensive for me because I had to order it online.
