| Check the labels. There are different brands of Stevia, in powder and liquid form. The powders may have bulking agents that can add .5 - 1 g. carb per packet. I haven't looked at the newer brands. Years ago, I tried several different stevia products; but, as it turns out, any form of stevia, even a fresh leaf, gives me a bitter aftertaste.

| If you are talking about the green SteviaPlus packets, according to my box there is less than 1 gram carb per 1/2 packet and says it does not contain any bulking agents. I find that there's fine line with stevia. If I get the amount just right, it's not bad at all. Too much and the aftertaste is horrible. I prefer the Sweetleaf liquid stevia (from the same folks that make SteviaPlus) that comes in a bottle with an eyedropper as it's much easier to control that way.
