I ate some ham slices and 2 devilled eggs. I have cut way back on carbs and have jump started my weight loss again. I don't give up caffeine , however , as some others do. I enjoy a cup of good coffee a day, and several glasses of iced tea.

Last night was Steak off the grill, a nice salad, a caprese, fresh steamed asparagus, sauteed mushrooms and onions and fauxtatoes with fresh blueberries and strawberries for dessert...

Gotta love the three day weekend.

A caprese (or Insalata Caprese) is a tomato and mozzarella "salad." The key is ripe tomatoes. It can be done with olive oil, balsamic vinegar or pesto. (I favor the balsamic myself...
