| Are these ok to eat? Does anyone know the carb count? There is not a nutritional label on the can or on their website. And, I WANT some!

| i can't see how there is no nutritional label on it. but i sugest to read the ingrediants listing if it consits of anything sugar or corn syurp ect, bad news.. if it just has "spices " u should be in good shape, i normaly buy, catch, ect a more fresher fish tuna i get in can i bought the pouches but to small. i prefer the bigger cans of tuna they last me more than one small snack or meal if they have a 800 # on the web site i sugest calling and asking them. by law in the states a nutrition label im pretty sure is to be posted on all packages .

| They have modified food starch in them. What is that? My carb tolerance is real low so every carb counts!!

| Rhonda - Modified food starch is usually corn based . So figure it about the same as cornstarch. I've eaten canned fish steaks in hot sauce but i just didn't eat any of the excess sauce. I doubtthat I ate more than 2 carbs doing that. If you've already bought them and are worried about the carb count you could rinse them and add your own hot sauce. |
