| My name is Carolyn and I have recently started low carb dieting. Actually I have not followed any particular diet plan, but cut out all starch, sugar and basically white foods. My weight has gone from 190.8 on August 1 to 183.6 this morning. Ideally of course, I would love to lose at least another 15 pounds by the end of Sept. Realistically, I will be quite happy with another 7 lbs. The only excercise I do is in cool weather, and that would be walking our country roads every morning for abut 1 hour. Brisk pace at that. I am a 63 year old mom to 5 furkids, all cats. Hence the name Kat Kins....LOL This will surely be a learning process for me for sure. I no longer use very much aspertame as I have heard horror stories about it, but do indulge in splenda these days. I am going to study the posts and see what I can learn from you folks. | Thanks folks.... I have done some reading.. and I am so amazed!!!!! Wow, you people here are truly motivated in your quest for a healthy body. God Bless You All. (am I allowed to say that?) Anyway, you get my drift.. lol My goal is to get down to 150 lbs. It would be nice to be there on Jan 1, 2007, but I won't drop dead in a ditch if I don't make it as long as I don't gain weight.
