| But oh is it so slow! Got us off the icecream and soda and breaded everything. I want to do a pure induction like the 1st time, but DH and I have to be in sync so we're going slow. We've managed to tear the house apart and now we need to get into better shape to put it back together!

| Well done on cutting out the ice cream and other little treats that lead to carb creep. I'm in the same mode. ... still having problems with nuts, so I may just cut those out, too, for the time being.

| Kimberly, the best part (I found) about the pure induction is that now on the second morning of the second week my appetite has gone down to nothing. I think I'm so hungry and yet I can't eat what I've put on my plate. I'm following the books guidelines very closely this time with one exception, diet soda. Though the first book does allow for it but preferrable without caffeine. It's funny he does list my favorite soda, fresca, as one you can have. But I have a tendency to just grab a diet coke at the office since it's provided for us here. Great work cutting out the ice cream, soda and breaded things. That's a big start!
