| Any ideas for LC hot cocoa that I can make? Since my boyfriend (fiance)and I have been together (3 years now) he has always take me out on the day before the night christmas (the 23rd) and we drive around in the neighbor hoods and look at lights on everyone's houses. Some street have competitions and such. We listen to Christmas music on the radio (in Buffalo we have 2 local radio stations that play xmas music 24/7 and they started 2 weeks prior to Thanksgiving!! Anyways, long story short has never the case for me, sorry. This year I said, I can't drink the cocoa...he is like C'mon a little cup isn't going to kill you! Little does he know it will set me back seriously! So any low carb solutions? Is the Sugar Free by Swiss Miss ok? Thanks Everyone!!

| How about some Hood's Calorie Countdown (used to be Carb Countdown) chocolate milk heated up? I prefer mine mixed half & half with the 2% Hood's milk, but I'm just weird that way. Put a dash of peppermint extract in it, and maybe even a bloop of cream, and you're all set! Put it in a portable cup, and away you go. |

| PQ, I buy mine at the WalMart Supercenter. It's in the cooler with all the milk. If you have any lc chocolate syrup, like DaVinci, or Walden Farms, you can mix it with a little cream and hot water to make a pretty decent hot chocolate, too. Or a spoonful of cocoa powder, sweetener to taste, a dash of vanilla, mix with a little hot water, add a dash of cream, and fill the cup with hot water. Voila! Hot cocoa! |

| Marci posted a great cocoa recipe in the cooking articles section. It is very luscious and rich.

| I make it with watered down coconut milk (since I am allergic to milk), dark cocoa powder, vanilla, and a sweetner. Whisk over medium heat and drink!
