Hi, John.

You can get some "start up" information here"

http://atkins.com/howto/index.html

But your best bet is to get the book "Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution" (DANDR). It's available in paperback and there is no substitute for having a "road map" to refer to on a regular basis.

HTH!

Welcome John,

Yes, go buy the book!!!!!! I see them EVERYWHERE at bookstores, grocery stores, Sam's Club (if you have one nearby) You practically trip over them. www.atkinscenter.com is a font of information too. But keep coming back here, You will learn lots!!!!

Yeah...buy the book. Hell...buy several. Find out what program you want to do before you start anything. And please check with your doctor before starting and get your blood work done. Also, take pictures and take measurements and your weight before you start. You'll be glad you did. That way you can compare when you look back two months from now and realize that you've lost a ton of weight. I mean, you wouldn't start a road trip to somewhere new without a road map, now would you? Get the book.

My two cents...

Another vote for the book.

I know, you don't want to take the time and just want to know what you should eat, right?

Well, that may work for a little while but the book is full of good info you should "arm" yourself with in order to do the plan right.

Many people who don't read the book end up making mistakes that could have been avoided if they'd read it.

Please read the book!

And drink lots of water.

Welcome to the board!

Yep. Book. Get it! Then read it cover to cover, at LEAST once, preferably TWICE.

You'll keep coming back to it as you journey on.
