| The only vinegar not allowed on Atkins is Balsamic due to the sugar content and yes the bottle will specify that it's Balsamic (it usually costs more too). For myself, I prefer cidar vinegar for salads and for making creamy cole slaw dressing. Always eat your veggies first! |

| Thank you very much brightlady. I can feel comfortable then using the vinegar I have (that actually tastes quite nice on a salad) until I get to the store on Saturday. I'll get some cidar vinegar and give that a try, 315/301/150 (Started 8/17/03) |

| Horsemom, a good all natural apple cider vinegar is a great choice. Some of the highly processed cider vinegars are just colored amber and don't have the organic properties. I like Bragg's apple cider vinegar. Go to bragg.com and check it out. |
