| I read a thread somewhere that increasing carbs may actually help to lose more, although I'm quite happy with the steady pace I've been experiencing. So is my 7-9 average ok? Healthy? Fantastic? Not recommended? LOL |

| I don't believe it is OK - not for the long run, anyway. The only folks who should be that low - and ONLY for a very short time - are the ones doing the "fat fast." At that level of carbs, I don't think you can be eating anywhere near enough veggies or getting enough fiber. It looks from your sig like you started on 1/1 - so you should be ending induction today and adding in carbs gradually. I know it's very tempting to want to keep going at such a low carb level, but as you've read it is actually counter-productive. Start adding in those good veggies: broccoli, califlower, cabbage, various leafy greens, and more! You'll be forming good eating habits that will help you long after you've lost your weight, and ones that will keep you healthy long term. HTH, LCandrea |
