| So I bought some cheese made from goat's milk the other day as it was on special offer, and guess what? The carbs are REALLY LOW! So if you get the chance compare goat's milk cheese to normall cheese cause the stuff is really good and lower in carbs. ACE!

| Today I bought some fresh parmesan, not the grated stuff, and it is sooo good too! Expensive though!

| Yesterday, I went to the cheese store at my local farmers market. It's a great store where they will slice you off small samples of everything, but it's SO HARD to pick the few to take home! I ended up with a dill havarti, a blue, a Swiss, and an English farmhouse cheddar (thank you, England! LOL!) Now I feel like I have a cheese feast in my fridge just waiting to be enjoyed. I definitely agree with you about the fresh Parmesan -- it makes the grated stuff look like it's not even cheese. Aderyn |

| Have you tried Lancashire cheese? I live in Lancashire and buy it so fresh and also good to know I am supporting the local economy. Lancashire cheese rawks. There are different kinds but my favourite is Tasty Lancashire. Here is a great recipie: 2kg medium parsnips, peeled and quartered lengthways 600ml double cream 200g Lancashire cheese, grated Salt and freshly ground white pepper Pre-heat the oven to 175C/gas mark 4. Remove the centre core from the parsnips and lay them in an ovenproof serving dish. Bring the cream to the boil, season and pour over the parsnips then scatter over the cheese. Place the dish in a larger dish or roasting tray to act as a bain marie and pour boiling water into the larger dish so it comes about half way up. Carefully place in the oven and bake for about 1 hour, maybe a bit longer until the parsnips are tender and lightly coloured.

| I love all cheese, goat, cow, sheep. I saw, for the first time, butter made from goat's milk. I thought it might taste really different from cow's milk butter, but I can't say I can notice a difference. It's delightful. I think when I retire, I shall get a few goats to go with the chickens that I already plan on raising. I'm partial to the nubians, since they're so cute. I think it's the floppy ears.

| OMG they are so cute. I've always wanted chickens but have nowhere secure to keep them, plus I have 3 cats!

| I'd love to have a milk goat, a few chickens, and rabbits. A moderate-sized garden - hmmmm, kind of like Good Neighbors, without the pigs!
