I mean it... just today! After my TaeBo this morning, I weighed in for fun at 289.5. About the same as last week, though my weigh-in day is Sunday now...

Anyway, I spent the afternoon from 3pm until 8pm outside (100 degrees here today) helping Cub Scouts sell popcorn, and while I drank about a quart of water, it didn't help much. When I got home, I weighed in at 285.5! LOL!

No doubt I was fairly dehydrated, and it'll come back with the quart of water I drank when I got home, but it's going in my sig to stay for now!

We have another 4 hours selling tomorrow, and then I have to do the yard. Heck, I could be at 280 by Sunday!

Great going Mikey! I remember the days of selling the popcorn and eating it. I had 3 Cub Scouts.

Hope all of your hard work keeps those pounds away.

Mikey,

I am so excited for you! Hopefully, it won't all come back when you replentish your fluids. (I have oftern wondered if a session in the sauna or steam room would help on my WW WI days.....)

Impressive Mikey ......very impressive. And, it's a great motivator for us all to see that the Woosh Fairy still lives.

I have had the most success personally (and seen the most success from others) stemming from a healthy, sustainable way of eating rather than the "quick fix" of water weight lost from crash dieting. That's why I love low-carb. I find the whooshes "stick" better.

I have to agree with Goddess...
While the "whooshes" are nice -- especially if you know you earned it -- they are not something to shoot for. If you are not eating right, consistently, all you are going to achieve is a fluid whoosh from a one day all-protein, starvation diet.
