I think it depends on whether you're male or female, whether you have a lot to lose (over 50 lbs) or a little, and whether the rapid loss continues over a long period of time or slows down after a month or so.

I am female, with 130 total to lose. I lost 17.5 pounds on induction, 30 pounds in the first month, but it slowed down gradually...four months into it, I'd lost 50 pounds. A year into it, I'd lost 70. And now, it's CRAWLING off.

I lost quickly for a while, but I don't think I ever really lost "too fast"...and it's surely staying off!

lol less.

i don't think it is ever a problem unless you are doing it the unhealthy way (starvation, too much exercise etc). so ask yourself - do you feel good? you do? you're going fine then!

Eating healthy and feeling good? No, I don't think there is such a thing as too much too fast on this WOE. I think most people tend to drop the first pounds quickly, depending on how much you need to lose, and then move on to a slower pace.

Let's hear it for losing!!!
