I have a friend who is interested in this WOE, but is not much of a reader (to put it mildly). I am thinking about buying her a set of the Atkins tapes to learn about the program. Has anyone here seen them? If so, what did you think? Are they as good as the book?

Thanks,
Aderyn

I have seen the tapes. In the second tape Dr. Atkins takes an average day and places 1/4 cups of sugar in a bowl representing all the sugar that metabolises during a day's menu. That was pretty impressive. All in all, the book has the facts. The tapes are just to get you excited about the "plan". I have passed them around some and am not sorry I bought them.
