| Ok, so this is information I should probably have already but for what ever reason I don't. What is the carb count for fresh green beans? I'm simmering them with bacon and onions and I really want to have some but I'm unsure of the count. Anyone, HELP Wendi |

| Wendi, I don't have my carb counter handy, but I'm going to advise you as I have others: Don't sweat the green veggies! Seriously, I don't even count them as carbs. I mean, I wouldn't sit down and eat a whole plate of tomatoes, but those have sugar. Anything green (IMHO) should be *free food*. After all, have you ever known anyone to get fat from eating too many green vegetables??? So, my advice? Enjoy the green beans (I LOVE fresh green beans!) and don't worry about the carb count. But maybe someone will chime in who knows what the *official* numbers are... Good luck to you! Summer www.herstorygirl.com |
