Hello!! First I would like to say how wonderful each of you are and how helpful and supportive this site is for me. I was on atkin's many years ago and was successful, but for some reason I quit and tried other avenues that obviosly don't work for me and now I am back again. Today is day 17 for me and I was in ketosis everyday except for a few days ago when something knocked me out, but now I am in it again, and my question is, when should I begin the switch to owl? Should I start after the two weeks regardless of being kicked out of ketosis, or do I start the induction all over for another two weeks? Also, are we supposed to remain in ketosis while in owl or no?
Thank you for your time and info.

I don't think you need to repeat induction just for one day. As long as you are back in Ketosis then you are probably fine. I would think that you should remain in Ketosis during OWL (I am still in Ketosis) But I'm not sure how long would be considered harmful. Any veterens out there?

I think moving on to OWL is a good idea. You will be eating a wider variety of foods, and that makes this WOE all the more doable for the long haul! And, it's all about being successful in the long run, isn't it?

Quite a number of people never have their strips turn pink or purple, yet they lose weight on this WOE just like anyone else.
