Default 1972 Atkins book

Please Help!
I'm looking to connect with the original 1972 Atkins plan. I did my 1st pass in 2001 using the DANDR. I have since had "issues" that have caused me to FIND about 1/2 of what I had lost since then. I'm looking to go all the way back to the original plan from 1972.

So my request... I'm looking on Amazon and see hundreds of copies of the Atkin book. Now I'm working thru just which ones are the 1972 version. Either I'm being really dense or something. Is there a simple way to see the difference between them?

Any help in getting the 1972 version would be greatly appreciated.
Tom.

Tom, the original book is Dr. Atkins Diet Revolution, the revised versions are Dr. Atkins NEW Diet Revolution. I looked at Amazon and found 12, for as little as $2.49.

I have the original book, it is well worn, well used, and I think better than the newer versions. It's much, much simpler not having to deduct fiber. I lost better using the original version.

If I weren't so stingy, I'd give you mine, but, hey, I still refer to it, so it's staying on my bookshelf!

Either the original book, or the original cook book, has a section with low fat recipes, too, if you are of a mind to eat fake eggs and such.

I wish you success, both in finding the book, and in getting back into the losing mode.

Thanks Nita!
I just found 1 on ebay for under $10 shipped. About the same as Amazon after shipping.
I guess I was just a wee bit premature in starting this thread.
It was interesting to see how many versions of the book are out there and revisions as well.
That is why I wished to go all the way bak to the "roots."
